I’m enthused to announce a new website by long-time (since the mid-1970s when ACIM was published) Course student and teacher, Doug Sparks, of Boulder, Colorado. I had the pleasure of attending many talks and workshops that Doug gave at Rocky Mountain Miracle Center as well as other venues in the greater Denver vicinity, including a day-long workshop at our home when we lived in Castle Rock, Colorado; every one of them deepened my appreciation for the wisdom of ACIM and provided insights that accelerated my application and practice of its non-dual teachings. I recommend any workshop, class or opportunity to hear Doug sharing about ACIM. Doug has a considerable backlog of excellent material that in various media will be added to his new website, in addition to new content on an ongoing basis. His new website will be a superb resource for students of ACIM, reflecting his decades of teaching it.
Ken Wapnick Inspiration and Influence
Doug has made an in-depth study of the brilliant work of Ken Wapnick since 1985. In addition to having a profound grasp of the ideas in A Course In Miracles, I think Ken’s playful, spirit of loving-kindness – seeing beyond the dream of separation – “rubbed off” on Doug in a particularly wonderful way. His clear insights about the material combined with the gracious, welcoming friendliness he exemplifies make a superb catalytic combination for undoing the “blocks to the awareness of Love’s presence.”
Mexico Workshop – Sunday, Sep. 22 – 26, 2019
Doug will be returning to Ajijic, Mexico (near Lake Chapala) next month. A few months ago he gave some informal classes there while visiting at the invitation of James Twyman who has a center there – not far from David Hoffmeister’s community nearby – and was very well received and asked to give a more in-depth program.
