Beam my mind up to full inclusion, Holy Spirit

Sunday, 26 December 2021 by Bruce Rawles

I just read a great excerpt on The Disappearance of the Universe Facebook Group about Gary Renard’s excellent third book, Love Has Forgotten No One which I’ll copy below. I was going to just make a short comment, but then I got to thinking about the general subject of doing amazing things with our minds (like making up a universe, for example) and so after writing a bit more than anticipated, I decided it might make a fun blog post. (Aside: Imagine a smiley face here; I’ve temporarily stopped using them liberally until I find a way to keep WordPress’ RSS feed from replacing the smileys with huge yellow smiling faces in email bulletins!) (Another smiley would go here!)

Here is the Facebook post:

Arten’s Enlightenment
ARTEN: … But then I met Pursah when I was in my 60s, and she made everything new again. We started with a special love relationship, but within months, it was a holy relationship. She was enlightened about eight years later. We both knew it. But nobody would know it if they saw us on the sidewalk or in a restaurant. The only difference others would notice is that Pursah smiled more frequently than most people, as the Course says.
That’s when we started to do mind transport, about a year after she was enlightened. My mind wasn’t quite as powerful as hers, but we knew I was getting there. When your awareness increases, because the ego interference has been completely undone, your mind can do anything. We tried not to be too obvious about it. We’d mostly zap ourselves off to places where there weren’t any people. When your unconscious mind has been completely healed by the Holy Spirit, there are no blocks or barriers; there’s nothing to hold you back. You just think and you’re there. At first, I couldn’t have done it without joining with Pursah’s mind. When we transported you, we had already joined our minds with yours.
We also did some levitation, but I thought the mind transport was more fun. Then, of course, you realize every place is the same, which you already knew, but it’s another confirmation of your new perception. You never really go anywhere. It’s all a projection.
Eventually, after Pursah’s transition, I became enlightened. It was because of her that I had been able to truly forgive and learn my final lesson, the passing of her body. She did a great job coaching me during her transition. Now we’re manifestations of the Holy Spirit. Our images are used to teach, not for anything else. When we’re not communicating with you, we are home in God. It’s a glorious existence, Gary. No such thing as lack or problems or death or loneliness. There’s such a fullness and a wholeness. It’s complete. And the love is almost too much! Your cup really does runneth over. If you knew the joy that awaits you, you’d be jumping up and down right now.
… and my comments:
Interesting synchronicity; I just started re-reading Baird Spalding’s “Life and Teachings of the Masters of the Far East” which I read just a little over 50 years ago when I was in high school and (re-?)launched a (multi?)-life-long study of metaphysics ? … In the first volume (of 6) there are descriptions of mind transport – not long after the phrase “Beam me up, Scotty” crossed my path – which got my attention then and I was directly led deeper into the consistent message that we need to look past the form to see the Perfect (Innocent) Spirit within All.
When we can see the sameness of the entire dream of space and time as equally forgivable, then alluring phenomena like teleportation become peripheral to the real gift of waking up altogether from the belief in separation. It took actually trying ACIM’s pragmatic practice of consistent forgiveness as a means to undoing the ego propaganda of unconscious, unfounded guilt to take me beyond a hopeful theory to realize that ACIM’s non-dual metaphysics does actually provide a “meet us where we’re at yet take us all the way home” approach to consistent peace.
Spalding’s books were an excellent foundation at the time for me for ACIM which my mother would introduce me to in the early 1980s. I wrote about Mom and a familiar beloved friend (Judy Skutch Whitson) here.
The Spalding books were the backdrop for a wide variety of metaphysical explorations before Gary’s books re-kindled (can-opened) my understanding of the Course in 2007 and led to a deeper appreciation of Kenneth Wapnick’s prolific, profound work. I’m so grateful for all of these catalysts and truly helpful friends! ?
Here are a few quotes from Spalding’s books that inspired me; rereading these again, I realize that only from Holy Spirit’s pure non-dual teaching do these beautifully poetic lines make sense, but the inspiration was there all along:
“The Light” (from Life and Teachings of the Masters of the Far East by Baird T. Spalding)
(excerpt found here: http://blog.sina.com.cn/s/blog_64c7edb80100u1sr.html):
“As I stand alone in Your great silence, God my Father, in the midst of me there blazes a pure light and it fills every atom of my whole being with its great radiance. Life, Love, Strength, Purity, Beauty, Perfection, stand forth in all dominion within me. As I gaze into the very heart of this light, I see another light—liquid, soft, golden-white and radiantly luminous—absorbing, mothering and giving forth the caressing fire of the Greater Light.
“Now I know that I am God and one with God’s whole universe. I whisper to God my Father and I am undisturbed.
“Yet in this complete silence there exists God’s Greatest Activity. Again, I am undisturbed and complete silence is all about me. Now the radiance of this light spreads to God’s vast universe and everywhere I know there is God’s conscious life. Again, I say fearlessly, I am God; I am silent and unafraid.
“I lift the Christ high within me and sing God’s praise. In the tones of my music inspiration hums. Louder and louder within me the Great Mother sings of new life. Louder and clearer with each new day, inspiration is lifting my conscious thought until it is attuned to God’s rhythm. Again, I lift the Christ high and give close ear that I may hear the glad music. My keynote is harmony and the theme of my song is God and God seals my song as Truth.
“I am free with the great light of Your Spirit, God my Father, Your seal is placed upon my forehead. I accept.
“I hold your light high, God my Father. Again, I accept.
… and this quote completely changed my view of religion and the traditional Christian idea of crucifixion: (from volume 3, also quoted here in a conversation with Cindy’s sister, Jackie Lora Jones.
“It is written [in Matthew 27:46] that my last words on the cross were: ‘My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?’ This is a complete mistranslation. The words actually were: ‘My God, my God, thou hast never forsaken me or any of thy children, for thy children can come to thee as I have come. They can see my life as I have lived my life. Thus, by living that life, they do incorporate the Christ and become One with you, God my Father.”

We all want to go home, but the transporter that will work for all of us – true forgiveness – won’t take our dream figures anywhere, but has the capacity to take us home to the place in our minds we never left – instantly! The last sentence in the FB post above reminded me of these inspiring reminders:
“O my brothers, if you only knew the peace that will envelop you and hold you safe and pure and lovely in the Mind of God, you could but rush to meet Him where His altar is.²Hallowed your Name and His, for they are joined here in this holy place.³Here He leans down to lift you up to Him, out of illusions into holiness; out of the world and to eternity; out of all fear and given back to love.” (ACIM, C-4.8:1-3)
“The new perspective you will gain from crossing over will be the understanding of where Heaven is. ²From this side, it seems to be outside and across the bridge. ³Yet as you cross to join it, it will join with you and become one with you. ⁴And you will think, in glad astonishment, that for all this you gave up nothing! ⁵The joy of Heaven, which has no limit, is increased with each light that returns to take its rightful place within it. ⁶Wait no longer, for the Love of God and you. ⁷And may the holy instant speed you on the way, as it will surely do if you but let it come to you.” (ACIM, T-16.VI.11:1-7)
