We think we’re separate individuals living in a world of separate objects, defined by the interlocking dream ingredients of space and time, further defined and dissected by another pervasive concept: dimensions. But what are dimensions? Once we ‘progress’ beyond Perfect Oneness, which has no (zero) dimension, we dream a dangerous and dastardly world of duality. Fortunately, we took with us into this dream the deliciously divine memory or awareness of that undestroyable Perfect Oneness, so no matter how far down ego’s rabid hole we go, there is a gentle solution that awaits us outside the spatial, temporal, demented dimensional dream. 🙂
In this conversation, Lyn Johnson and Bruce Rawles explore a few of these ideas as we take a virtual stroll through mathematical dimensions zero through infinity, noticing the inconvenient truth (from ego’s perspective) that our Inner Kindness Teacher simple smiles gently awaiting our choice to return from feverish fragmented fantasies. The image (called a polytope) is a frame from an animation by Russell Towle depicting a 3-dimensional ‘slice’ through a 4-dimensional object. More about these imaginary geometries (within the seemingly larger imaginary realm of duality) here.
Here is some related musing that Lyn wrote, prefaced by her comments about it:
Here is the poem I wrote in the bathroom after the dream where Einstein and Freud were telling me about it:
Time and Space are the same thing,
Each one defines the other,
Space makes time through distance,
And time divides its brother.
The purpose we have given both,
To separate God in fear,
When God tires of this silly game,
They both will disappear.
It’s time we learn our lessons,
And learn these lessons well,
The game we play with time and space,
Turns Heaven into hell.
Though hell is fun for just awhile,
Its choices and its glitter,
Make God seem small, or not at all,
And all that’s sweet seems bitter.
Freud shone the light on what’s within,
Einstein defined the rest,
Twin brothers in discovery described
Our prison funhouse best.
Now that I see through time and space,
Invented by my mind,
Dreamed… solid trap, just smoke and mirrors,
Can all be left behind.
I choose this moment to rescind
The power I projected,
Return to Love, restore to One,
Space, Time, My Mind… Corrected!!!
